This adventure starts in Arequipa and ends in Puno or vice versa.

We pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 am and we will take the old road to Puno, it is a dirt road that passes behind the Pichu Pichu volcano and from where you can see the majestic Misti volcano. We will cross through the town of Chiguata and we will make a stop to take pictures of the pre-Inca agricultural terraces.

After two hours of travel we will arrive at Laguna de Salinas (the Arequipa salt flat), normally this shallow water lagoon dries up between April and December and becomes a beautiful salt flat surrounded by volcanoes (some active). We will walk through the salt flats and we will be able to take photos in perspective, as well as photos with a reflection effect or water mirrors and we will observe llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and flamingos. We will have enough time to enjoy this charming natural environment.

We continue our tour through the Andes mountains and we will have lunch outdoors (picnic). Then we will cross the National Reserve and arrive at Lagunillas, this beautiful lagoon is located at 4250m in the Puno region, here there are also flamingos and different varieties of Andean birds.

Before arriving in Puno we will visit Sillustani, pre-Inca cemetery on the shores of Lake Umayo. In this place, mysticism and energy are breathed. In its territory it has almost a hundred elongated capsular-shaped mausoleums, in which the remains of nobles, priests and rulers of the Kolla (mostly), Tiahuanaco and Inca cultures were found.

Finally, we will arrive in Puno and we will transfer you to your hotel.
