City Tour By Bike
This adventure is for those who want to tour the city by bike, visit viewpoints and learn more about the history and culture of Arequipa on two wheels. We have modern and comfortable bicycles in different sizes, as well as safety gloves and helmets. On this tour we will have stops at strategic points to take pictures and learn more about the history of each place we visit. We also know more about the day to day, the current trade and the development of daily life in Arequipa.
We start the tour in the main square, where the white city was founded, the guide will provide relevant information and historical data of Arequipa, then we will continue to the railway station (still in activity) and we will also visit the old british neighborhood.
We continue pedaling through the historic center of Arequipa and we will arrive at San Lázaro, the oldest neighborhood in the city, we will cross the district of Selva Alegre, a wealthy or residential area, and then pedal over the longest bridge in Arequipa, located in the district of Cayma where will observe the Chilina valley, the Chili river and the three volcanoes of Arequipa; Chachani, Misti and Picu Pichu volcanoes.
After the volcanoes viewpoint we will go to the traditional district of Yanahuara, one of the most beautiful in the city, and we will pedal through the narrow colonial streets to the square where the Yanahuara colonial church and viewpoint are located, both of them built with ashlar. Finally we will return to the main square of Arequipa.
